This is MJ the MonkeyBear. He is named after Marc Anthony and Justin Timberlake...because that's how she rolls. Friends: don't ever make me sing "I Need to Know" or "What Goes Around Comes Back Around" to you...I only do it for the love of my daughter. (Never, ever in the car by myself or anything...)

Crossing the Tennessee River

Cora and I take a walk across the Tennessee River on the Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge. This bridge connects where we live (N. Chattanooga/North Shore) to downtown. It was built for walkers, runners, and bikers...no cars. Chris biked to work using the bridge for the first time today. It is packed during the weekends...but Cora and I had it almost to ourselves in the late morning.

A view of the Tennessee Aquarium and the Market Street bridge (which is being renovated and will be open to cars in a little over a year). The largest glass atrium atop the aquarium holds the butterfly santuary, which has become one of Cora's favorite places to visit.
A view of the Hunter Art Museum...as you can tell it is a mixture of architectural styles due to additions built in the 1970's and early 2000's.
A view looking toward the North Shore...our house is located on the top of this hill. It doesn't look like a big hill, but it is extremely steep when walking up it carrying a baby!! It's making me sweat just thinking about it... :)
