Mothers and Daughters

New Flowers and the First Day of School!

My mom (Cora's grandma) and grandma (Cora's great granny!) stayed with us over the last two weeks. We had a lot of fun and their gift to me for mother's day was beautiful flowers to put in the planters in our front yard...which previously held only dirt and fallen leaves. I arranged the flowers and grandma showed me the digging and dirt techniques. I think they turned out great!

Cora started preschool this past week at a very cool school in downtown Chattanooga. She attends two days a week and is already in love with the classroom and playground. I'll post more photos soon.

Bike Trip Along the Tennessee River

We finally got our chance for a family bike trip this weekend...although it still threatened to rain. Cora loved the bike trailer and couldn't stand her bike helmet. But it's so cute. And safe! While we were going down one small hill I could hear her yell "Weeee!" She was thoroughly passed out by the end of our trip with her little helmet head weighed down to one side.

DUDE!!

Chris teaches Cora a new word. She has since been referring to him as "Dude!" when he enters the room. Nice.

Great Granny's 84th Birthday!
