The Great Escape

So...Chris and I debated the subject of crib bumpers recently - to buy or not to buy?

Big, soft, fluffy ones are not recommended for SIDS prevention (potential suffocation)...yet we didn't like the idea of no crib bumper either, where Cora's limbs could get stuck between the slats. We thought the solution would be the "breathable" crib bumper. See first post-nap results above.

Identify These Trees, Please!

Backyard trees

Pink flower tree in the side yard

White flower tree in the front yard....

Can anyone identify these trees, located in our front and back yards, for us? Thank you, thank you!

A Colorful House, Part Deux

Our bedroom (color = down pour) - we really like how it turned out.

Cora's room, on the other hand, we aren't sure about (color = garden). The color looks more like mint. We aren't sure what to do...repaint? leave it? -- We've decided to keep it...like a garden, it's, er, growing on us! Ha!

Timmy Hates Chattanooga!

So our dear Timmy just joined us in Chattanooga and was adjusting well until last night....when our other cat Digger got a bag attached to him and mistakenly thought the bag was "chasing" him. This freaked Timmy out and made him realize that bags can come ALIVE. A scary thought indeed. He hid from us for about 12 hours and we couldn't find him...until Chris looked UP. On top of the cabinets is his new favorite spot in our apartment. Luckily, we move into our house next weekend....
